Project DescriptionSince Microsoft is dropping the POP3 server from the next generation of Windows Server, I thought it would be a good idea to create a mail server that could utilize the SMTP server that is a part of IIS or any other SMTP server for that matter.
The idea is to create a service that is pluggable that is the data store should be pluggable so it could use either a DB store or some kind of custom file structure, the protocols should be plugable as well so it could handle POP3, IMAP4 or a webpage interface.
